Firewalls
Firewalls can improve the performance of your computer by helping protect the system from any programs trying to gain access to your network. The firewall can also block trojans, viruses and other forms of malware trying to infect your computer. The firewall will also give you the option on whether to allow files to access your computer without authorisation and this will help stop your computer from slowing down and crashing.

Defragmentation
Defragmentation can help improve the performance of your computer by breaking down large files which makes the file size smaller and increases the amount of memory available on the system. When a hard drive gets fragmented files, the computer performance will be slowed down as it has to search more places to find the file so disk defragment is important for rearranging the data and merging the fragmented files so that the computer can run more efficiently.

Drive Formatting
Drive Formatting can improve the performance of your computer as it will remove data, clean overloaded registries and remove viruses that are constantly causing damage to the system. This process can greatly improve the performance of your computer as it will remove any content that is causing glitches and conflicts in the system. If this process is performed on a regular basis, the life of your computer will be extended greatly and will prevent future system crashes that would normally occur on your computer.
