“Software applications open and work as intended”	I will install Microsoft Office Essentials and open one of the applications to test if it works correctly.	The application should open without any problems and work correctly.	The application opened and didn’t experience any difficulties.	None.
“Default folder settings are correct”	I will save a piece of work into a folder and check that it saves without any restrictions or difficulties.	The folder settings will be fine and the work will save properly into the folder with no restrictions.	The folder settings were set to default and the work was saved with no difficulties.	None.
“Desktop shortcuts go to the right place”	I will make a desktop shortcut for My Documents and see if it will go straight onto my desktop.	The shortcut should be created onto the desktop for easy access.	The shortcut was made for My Documents and was put on the desktop.	None.
“The correct device drivers are installed”	I will open the device manger through the control panel and check if the correct device drivers are installed.	The device manager should show that all of the devices have the correct drivers installed for the hardware and software to work.	The device manager showed that the correct device drivers were installed and all of the software and hardware was operating correctly.	None.
“The correct paper sizes are set for printing”	I will go onto Print Setup through the control panel and change the paper size so that it is set for A4 if it isn’t already set to A4.	The paper size should be default set as A4.	The paper size was set to A4 black and white on the print setup.	None.
“Menu options work as intended”	I will try to navigate through the menu options and see that everything is working correctly.	The menu options should be okay and I should be able to work my way through the different programs with ease.	The menu was easy to navigate and very simple and I was able to look through the different programs without difficulties.	None.
“The correct data and time are set”	I will go into the data and time settings and check to see that they are accurate.	The time and date should be accurate and won’t need to be changed.	The time and date were fine and correct.	None.
